1. Service Description
Epstein Database provides a searchable interface to public domain documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice under the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405). The service includes full-text search, document viewing, API access, and analytical tools.
2. Access Tiers
- Free: Limited to 3 searches per day
- Researcher ($29/mo): Unlimited searches, full document access, export capabilities
- Professional ($99/mo): Everything in Researcher plus API access, bulk export, and priority support
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated scraping to bulk download documents
- Resell API access or search results
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or defame any individual
- Misrepresent document contents or fabricate connections not supported by the source material
4. API Terms
API keys are for the registered account holder only. Sharing API keys is prohibited. We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate rate limits or acceptable use policies. API usage is subject to the rate limits of your subscription tier.
5. Payments & Refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the account management portal. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase. Book purchases are non-refundable once digital content has been accessed.
6. Content Disclaimer
The documents in this database are reproductions of U.S. government records. We provide them as-is for research purposes. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of OCR-extracted text. Always refer to original source documents for legal or journalistic use.
This service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Justice or any government agency.
7. Intellectual Property
The documents themselves are public domain. The search infrastructure, analysis tools, book series content, and website design are proprietary and protected by copyright.
8. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this service or reliance on the documents contained herein.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
